Translation of Chimitron receiver instructions. The following is the approximate meaning of the six sections:

No. 1 - Connect the components according to the diagram, observing polarity.

No. 2 - Turn on the switch. You should hear a "swishing" sound in the earphone. The meter should read between 4ma and 7ma.

No. 3 - Press Xmtr button. You should hear a tone signal and the meter should read between 15ma and 17ma.

No. 4 - Extend the Xtmr antenna to full length and separate move about 100 meters away from the receiver. If a tone cannot be heard, try adjusting the receiver coil for maximum sound tone.

No. 5 - When the DCV drops below 3-volts, change the batteries.

No. 6 - Temperature operating range: 5 to 40 degrees C. For shock protection, cover receiver with rubber/foam material. Do no shorten the antenna. If problems persist, return to manufacturer for repair.
